Public Hearings

INDOT hosted an informational open house and public hearings on June 26 at Carmel High School to seek input on all aspects of The New US 31 Hamilton County Major Moves project, including the environmental study and the proposed design alternatives.

The Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS) is available for review. Comments and questions received from May 30 through July 25, 2008, will be included and addressed in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) document, which is scheduled to be complete in late fall 2008. Those comments and questions will also be shared with INDOT and the design team for their review and consideration as the team works to complete the final details of the Selected Alternative.
